I guess Kaplan must feel that they need to garner more market share as opposed to shoot for shorter-term profitability. Shorter-term profitability would help with raising public funds (and the stock price, at this juncture), but it sounds like he is going to go the private route. Unfortunately this dot.com weed-out phase won't help EGGS much as a lot of their competition is well entrenched. I suspect that when (if?) they get outside funding the stock'll pop.... JF
