David Still remember that old MAD mag satire of popular mechanics re building your own 707 using discarded soda cans and 4 electrolux vacuum cleaners (free thought process after thinking about the time I was visiting a friend out in Chino California and checking out all of those beautiful birds out there. I recently met someone out here in NY who could link me to someone purchasing a used Polish mig 17 for $32,000.00 (I think that the tape player was optional), but I heard that it was a real hassel getting them certified in the states. I heard that you have to fly it 100 hours in designated airspace (or have it shoot down 2 friendlies). David
