BIDCRAWLER.COM INC - GO2NET INC - Enters Marketing Agreement With The Go2Net Network [464]
================================================================
BidCrawler.com, Inc. announced an advertising arrangement with the
Go2Net Network, one of the Internet's leading networks. BidCrawler.com's
advanced Internet auction search tool, BidCrawler, will be featured on the
front page of Go2Net's MetaCrawler as one of five shopping partners and
will run keyword targeted banner ads throughout MetaCrawler.
BidCrawler.com's goal is to offer online auction-goers a no-nonsense tool
that streamlines auction searches by providing faster, easier and more
accurate results from a single Web site.
"This relationship is an important step for BidCrawler.com," said
BidCrawler.com President, Greg Stone. "Not only is MetaCrawler's search
technology complimentary to BidCrawler, but marketing to MetaCrawler's vast
user-base will allow us to quickly introduce the BidCrawler tool to an
exceptionally large audience. We want our users to be confident they are
getting the best information available, no matter where it may be located
on the Web."
"BidCrawler has established itself as a leader in the online auction
space, and we're pleased to be working with them," said Dan Ballister,
Go2Net national sales director.
This agreement corresponds with the unveiling of BidCrawler.com's new
Web site design and enhanced search capabilities. BidCrawler provides
auction-goers with a no-nonsense tool that makes online auction searches
faster, easier and more accurate. "The enhancements we've made to our
metasearch technology now make it even easier for users to find exactly
what they're looking for," said Russ Krywolt, BidCrawler.com's CTO. "Online
auctions are extremely popular and there is an enormous amount of
information out there for people to wade through. Our goal is to make sense
of the 'data chaos' and deliver precise results based on a user's specific
search criteria," Krywolt continued.
BidCrawler's focus has always been on straightforward searches, not
flashy content. "Our new look and advanced functionality take our original
vision a step further," said BidCrawler.com's Marketing Director Jessica
Maco Raymond. "So many sites these days are succumbing to 'portal-itis' in
an effort to be everything to everyone. Our mission is simple - to provide
users with a tool that allows them to conduct fast, effective online
auction searches, without all the clutter," stated Raymond.

tahoe...that article you printed here...where is the rest of it...it looked cut off...why isn't gnet listed in that group?

planetpayment has taken the "web link" and "virtual terminal" of authorize.net and made them seemless at their site.....right now planetpayment doesn't have that many customers but they are working on a method to make web sites that sell products from all countries automatically translate to the language of the user.....this could be a huge market for authorize.net and this business idea is absolutely in its infincy....note powered by authorize.net at bottom
