Thanks for clarifying that Chief!....I was told it was in proportion to the number of order shs, NOT a predefined/agreed broker allocation!....and in practice, that seemed right....I was obviously mis-informed!!

Chief---true re CDNX on FIFO but with TSE it can be screwy.I sat on the offer on OTC and was first there via Greenline and about 15 minutes later as the offer was coming up there was 1100 shares popped on top of mine and they were filled first and the stock closed with me alone sitting on the offer at the close.Maybe this was the exception rather than the rule but sure P.O'd me.

EDIT:On the VSE if you are first in line you are filled first in almost every case I have seen with exception of special markets crosses.
