Bill Re....<<<<<hmaly, Re lower speed recently fabbed Athlons
No problemo, AMD will just take them all back and label them as 1 Ghz and up ....they will probably all do it?? <<<<<<<<

Bill, I am glad somebody agrees with what I am trying to say. T-bird is a new chip, coming from a new plant, on a new process. People are expecting this chip to do well. a 1.2 ghz chip has already been demoed. Because of Sander's habit of stonewalling lately; and because of other rumors, I fully expect AMD to have a nice surprise in store for Monday. Now is the time to blow their socks off, and get their undies in a bunch all at once. Just staying even with Intel won't get it done.
