It sure would be nice if a equipment supplier could validate a contract soon . It sure would stop the FUD one way or the other

China CDMA free of QCOM IP? This is of course, impossible.

Perhaps China seeks a flavor of CDMA that will be China-centric as the answer to their security issues? Can't believe they want roaming outside China anyway.

Same issues and questions with (W)CDMA or GSM/EDGE. Why would China want systems capable of communications with regions outside mainland?? Answer - they don't.

China will be far less an issue or force than is being speculated at present. China will disappoint. China will be the laggard.
