I see Kitco has gold at 272 now so it is probably bad data on my part.

it is NOT around 275. you have a bad data feed. spot is at 271,90 and that's up exactly 20 c. from yesterday's COMEX close, and down $2,50 from the intraday high in London.

total capitulation in the options market...the overall p/c ratio so far is 0,17. that's the lowest p/c ratio 1/2 hour into the open that i can remember having seen in a long time.
