Clinton needed the help. He obviously couldn't do it on his own.

Clinton's own advisors stopped him from making a televised speech to nation because they knew that he would lose, rather than gain, support. That should tell even you something.

That's also why AlGore the Junior's advisors keep him from meeting the press or appearing in unscripted venues. They want him to avoid answering questions and to appear presidential, not as AlGore the Junior.

It really bothers me the way so many conservatives have to try and say something bad about Clinton, and now Gore, just to display their mean spirits.
