Oh ! Art
Wish you didn't type "Hal"(g)
Hal picks every one of those up and wants me to respond.
We know Don is in at 4 15/16 and I've stated Hal will be no use to him.
Do you wish to indicate your average price on SNDK ?

Hal is trying to divide this thread into two parts:
(1) Those you got in years ago at below 7
(2) Those you may not be in and want to enter now.

<<Once again, it demonstrates that the ONLY way to make money on SNDK is to buy and hold for the long term>>

just b/c someone's TA doesn't work, doesn't validate your contention that "the ONLY waty to make money on SNDK is to buy and hold". surely, when seeing this in print you realize how ridiculous that assertion is....

i can tell you i've made money buying when it has become (imo) "undervalued" and then i've sold when i believe it to be "overvalued". guess what... i haven't rung the bell on either side, but i've garnered the 60%-70% of the profits b/w where i bought and the top. i've recently purchased 1/2 a position at just under 51, and i have absolutely NO intent of holding onto it "forever". given the direction of the stock, i'd say i'll make money again, this time around....

The best info I've been able to find indicates that Seagate has disposed of all its SNDK shares.

Art, could you post some indication of how you calculated that? My calculations, based on SNDK's proxy statement, SEG's filings for the VRTS deal and its 144 filings etc, suggest that they were down to a little below 3M after selling the 260K they filed to sell on May 16. If you could point me to any information that covers more recent sales I would appreciate it.
