the S&P is set to blast through the down-trend line. the move from the peak can now be counted as an a-b-c-d-e consolidation, which implies we'll get a blast-off to new highs in the 1600-1700 area.
note, no market that i know off has ever BK'd out of a complex consolidation formation like this. purely from a chart pattern PoV the latest rally increases the chances of a large move higher substantially.

of course it could be different this time, as the sentiment measures show signs of total bear capitulation.
