just buy an ethernet hub. (Multiple internet access from one cable/DSL modem. Not all providers will support giving out multiple IP addresses through their DHCP (i.e. they will charge more for multiple addresses). The Sygate and similar products make all the internet requests go out on the same IP address and separate the messages that are received. This has the advantage that the ISP only sees the one address and therefore does not charge for multiple sessions, A disadvantage is that some servers track by IP (for example internet gaming centers) and multiple games get confused.
