4 u youngsters-this is looking eerily like 1969-72,when small caps suffered brutally with the major averages supported by the nifty fifty which rolled over in 1972-74.This pain lasted for all stocks except those commodity based until 1982 when the FED finally became more accomidating by dropping interest rates from the 21-22% they had reached and started loosening money-the CANADIAN dollar went about parity vs. the US dollar reflecting there more commodity based economy-i was in the market in 1969 and it was ugly and painful
