Atin, I have used the Java SDK for the first time today. It is very compact and easy to use. I will have a better idea of it's reliability after using it for a few weeks.

Since you have everything in C++, I don't think it's much of an advantage for you, but for me the Java SDK is great for retrieving data and simple analysis. I intend to continue to use C programming for my heavy-duty stuff though.

I looked at the Java compilers in detail. It is only the high-end compilers that produce native "high-performance" code and the cheapest one is from Microsoft at about $800. The version from IBM costs more than $2000. I think for high performance, C or C++ is best at this point.
