anybody see this... from Briefing 6/27/00: 14:28 ET Semiconductor Capital Equipment SAB : SAB 101, an accounting regulation which was expected to impact June quarter, has been delayed until the end of next fiscal year. Merrill Lynch out saying they believe this removes a "dark cloud" for upcoming quarterly reports for the sector and view as a positive. SEC put the ruling out late last night, but Merrill Lynch does not think the news is widely known. Stocks likely to be impacted: Novellus (NVLS), Teradyne (TER), Applied Materials (AMAT), KLA-Tencor (KLAC), Kulicke & Soffa (KLIC) and PRI Automation (PRIA).
