Am not aware of any such indication on SI. Any posters can pick and choose to contribute on any threads. Some share viewpoints, hoping to contribute to the best of their knowledge.

Unfornate that good intention can be misread or misinterpreted.

I agree about moderated threads, and having no interest in posting to one. I will take a free exchange of ideas any day over moderation of posts.

Of course I will also take serious discussion on a thread such as this one over the mindless chatter of its former life.
