Aren't you weaned yet? Well, I still enjoy the Missionary position, or the femalia superiorus from time to time. Is that bad?! CNBC is my sole educational resource these days. They are absolutely brilliant. They think there may possibly be a summer rally...unless there isn't. overall, the markets could be a little bit weaker, but certain sectors could be lifted, which might make it stronger. There is a positive bias riding negative momentum. It might be best to take a wait and see attitude. I would be a buyer at this level...with some judicious selling in order to balance my asset allocation, and keeping an eye on P/E ratios. We could be setting up for a fall, but some analysts think there might be a rebound. The economy is either slowing or growing, so is it necessarily a bad thing that Microsoft refuses to fulfill their duty to prop up a lame duck competition? In many ways it is a critical time for the market. However, we need to keep the pivot points in perspective, and watch for overhead resistance, and perhaps be cautiously optimistic, and be careful about committing new cash. Watch the June contracts, and the volume based on today's close. They appear to have spent almost no genuine efforts into creating a legitimate competition. I think we need to anticipate the possibility of near term weakness, while recognizing the likelihood of long term growth. Looking at the scarcity of resources we ought to take a wait and see attitude, and perhaps look at rotating some of our resource allocations between a variety of sectors that give appropriate recognition of new economy versus old economy allocations. I know that you would have set up a competitive competitor; but poor Bill--just a clean-cut, pizza eating, coca-cola swiller...doesn't have a klu. Everything is to some degree above or below expectations. I think we need to watch the Fed. Just waiting for some of the key numbers... Thank God I have the BRDB to sort this all out for me...
