I hope that the gain was included in analyst estimates.....otherwise they earned only $1.4m.

Excluding non-operating charges, net income was $7.8 million or $0.11 per diluted share compared to $7.0 million or $0.11 per diluted share for the first quarter last year. Net income for the quarter included pre-tax gains of $6.4 million from the sale of investments in Liberate Technologies, Inc. and e-Sim, Ltd.
