TC, Thailand is full of up-start ISP/cyber cafes. I was in Northern Thailand (Chang Mai)and Central Thailand ( Bangkok and Pattaya ) I tried to Internet out from my hotel room everywhere, but kept getting hung up at switchboards. ....Then just took my laptop to any one of several storefront cyber cafes and asked if I could just plug in to their servers. ....No problem. .....45 to 100 Bt. an hour right into T-1 lines. Conversion is about 37 BT. = $1.00 I used my CyberX trading platform/Broker and had no problems at all; except for bad trades....,but I have that problem everywhere. I did not notice ANY slowdown in speed. Thinking about retiring there. Yes Yes,...The Land Of Smiles.
