Joe <That's a good one! Next time someone asks me why my stock is underperforming, I will say it is gathering strength>

That's funny. I like to think the coil is just being twisted tighter.

I wouldn't consider AMD to be "underperforming". It's probably STILL the top performer on the S&P. Additionally, I'm not surprised that investors are taking the wait&see approach this week. Had the T-Bird/Duron Duo been delayed, that could have been disastrous for the stock performance in the short term. I'm pretty certain we're in for a long, slow road of $2 gains per day - with an occasional bump - and a few occasional big jumps (on big news).

I think it's time for AMD players to just buy shares and sit back for a couple of months. Kash can't continue to time this market as perfect as he has been doing, forever! Or can he?

Comment: Only if it has the fundamental underpinnings of an AMD which, as has been suggested before, is valued at approx. 50% to the industry norm when measured by almost any financial yardstick based upon current and expected future performance!

Joe,

We are up over 15% since the opening on Tuesday. That isn't so bad after all? ;^))
