Future Communications was the first time they tried the scam of doing buy-in's at a huge premium to the market price, on the grounds that they were buying stock for guaranteed delivery, as opposed to doing a buy-in at market price from a market maker who wouldn't deliver. Clever racket, but the NASD doesn't let promoters do that anymore, I believe. BTW, as a general rule, just about every company with the word "Future" in its name eventually collapses.
