I did get to pick up a six-inch length. Took doing. A thousand feet of the stuff must be, well.

I think I saw a picture once of this ENORMOUS machine, effectively a foundry on treads, that extruded continuous seamless rail. No welds or joins. Rail needs to be that good for the superfast trains that are showing up all over the world, like drunks at a funeral.
