It is neither. It can be proved that they will both succeed and fail.

They will have to put together FTTH eventually, but that isn't now and it is under the purview of their MSO partners, maybe. Maybe not. It may very well be the case that significant problems arise as the number of people on a node rise. No one knows since no one can determine how much bandwidth will be demanded by users. History shows that users will pull up to frustration.

I have no idea how this company will thrive. Management has completely defeated my attempts to see a profitable future. It keeps disappearing in the next big plan to achieve profitability.

My understanding is that expansion is not an issue. As more customers come on the service as need be they can split the nodes on the hardware and open up more bandwidth. This is not supposed to be an issue. This company is turning the corner and headed up out of the ashes.
