What Cramer forgets is that for the past couple of YEARS, the trading pattern just before The Number (whatever Number it happens to be) is to sell off violently for two or three days. The Number is then used as the excuse to make a fast and furious rally, pocketing all the put money bought by the bears, squeezing shorts, etc.

This time it's different. We've already had the rally. This number will be SOLD!
