I know the relationship between Pac Bell and Westell has been reported before but I thought I would regurgitate a bit. Pac Bell gave me an appointment today for a DSL installation. I'm told a Westell modem will be provided--Alcatel couldn't keep up with production. Westell was reported to be an excellent product. It was considered 'sensitive' by installers laregely because the test equipment was Alcatel. Pac Bell also told me that DSL sales have been 'extraordinary' and that an outside firm, a certain 'ASI' has been hired to help expedite the orders. All in all, pleasing to my ears.
