as a matter of fact every time you use a antibiotic you screw yourself some. As I have pointed out many times you are not who you think you are. You are in fact about 85% self and about 15% "other organisms", like bacteria.
The good bacteria keeps the bad bacteria at bay. Adminsiter antibiotics and you nail both. On recovery, the bad sometimes gain in percentage terms. Allowing the host to become more vulnerable to another round of treatments.
Probiotic therapy should help to prevent this. A simple multiply active yogurt should work wonders on prevention.
