Re: I suspect the $$$ number you have in mind for retirement is WAY too low.

Kash,

This is an ongoing case study.

I make roughly pre tax of $4000 a month. If I can double that after factoring in taxes, market down turns, etc. it's worth it.

My retirement number is a 7 digit number after factoring in taxes.

I'm looking to be a full time trader by the end of 2000.

Most people must think I'm INSANE, but I've found no purpose in being pessimistic. If I believe it, it will happen. I think AMD is a once in the lifetime find, I have to take advantage of this. When dot bombs are still trading at 1000 times revenues with no profits, I just can't believe where AMD is. I thank AMD's last 20 years for giving me the opportunity to get into such an undervalued stock. This also reinforces my belief that the majority of people in tech stocks have no idea what they are buying. The analysts are even worse, but I think they know what they are doing (continuing to load up waiting for Q2 earnings to come out with strong buys and $200+++ price targets).

When I'm retired, I'll take vacations and go trade with you guys for a week or two at a time. ;-)
