Mike, Tie had a decent move yesterday. Could it be that the Alcoa/Howmet deal cast a new light on them as a possible target? Alcan also saying it will get in niche markets. Have a position already at a slightly higher price so i am not gonna run after it, but nevertheless like the action . Last time it ran to 12, some rumors of an Alcoa buyout were flying around. RTI had a pretty impressive run as well , too bad i didnt pull the trigger at 6 on that one...

To All Cheapskates, Buyitonline has a $15 off $25 coupon with free shipping available at dealofday.com I would estimate that most of the stuff I looked at was about 10-25% overpriced. But, since this is a 60% off with free shipping deal, it's still o.k. if you want what one of their 60 or so stores has. I had no problem finding items in the $25 to $30 range, though, as often happens with these deals, a lot of stuff I liked was at $24.99. <g> Still, a pretty good deal.

Mike, That's right, and in the 1960's at the age of about 14, I actually took the Charles Atlas course and did "isometrics". Used to hold my palms together and push them against each other, and all sorts of other neat tricks like that. I still have pretty big biceps today some 34 years later, but I did go over to lifting weights and curling, but never did it excessively like some of my "fanatical" friends. It's just too bad for me that sumo did not become one of my main sports to watch at a younger age, as I could have possibly become the first "Great White Yogizuna" in Japan! Oh well maybe I'll have better luck in my next lifetime. <g> Yogi
