However if You could only sell 90% of the 1.5s at say $2k, it would be better to sell the other 10% as 1.2 for say $900 then to put them on the shelf, or reduce the price for 1.5s to $1500. In any case this is all highly theoretical. I don't think AMD has the 1.5s and if they do they can probably figure a better way to maximize profits on them then I can (and even I was somehow better at this then they are they wouldn't listen to me anyway :)

I understand. First I think its a problem AMD would love to have. Secondly I think they would find buyers.

However if they couldn't, I agree that your suggestion is the best way to go.
