I'm sure you're right and that there's a lot of "noise" in the Thomson's data, but like all other market info, there are real "signals" in amongst the "noise". I've tracked enough of the "super buys", the ensuing market activity, and eventual block buys or sells to accept that as a fact. For example, the most recent was a few days ago on COMS:

And while there were some "sell super messages" yesterday, most of the super message volume was on the buy side.

So while I'm not a believer of everything I see there, I treat the Thomson's data as just one more piece of information that can help inform investment decisions. FWIW.
