Sam Walton had in excess is 20 failures. Good thing he still started his last one.

Walton was the subject of an A&E Biography on TV. The indication was that he was short of money while owning a single store, but pretty quickly became the most popular store in town. Had a counter where every item was a nickle and he filled it with whatever junk he could buy cheap, and people bought all sorts of things they didn't know they needed because it was a nickle.
