Did you all catch that Canseco comment about how he has access to places and information that his previous financial advisor didn't?

Something to the effect of 'I do a lot of charity work, golf fund raisers and such, where a lot of CEO's gather and talk. The can point me in the right direction about a company and get me in on IPO's'.

Uhhh Yep. You guessed it. A hint of inside trading information and the great CNBC crew didn't even seem to hear it or question it.

Much like the great Ralph Bloch of Raymond James inane comment on 'time to teach the baby boomers a lesson'.

And they wonder why companies won't return their calls...did it ever occur to Faber that these companies might not want to be "upstaged" when Squawk breaks away for a key interview with Pee-Wee Herman discussing his portfolio?
