How long it has been since the rate hikes have begun? Every Economics professor tries to explain the concept of lagging effects of discount rates on the economy to their graduate students. Not all succeed, sadly.

All we know is that we pulled a high-g turn down, but we don't yet know if we can get the landing gear set, or even if we have a landing gear. Until we figure that out, I'm long and strong -g-
