Well if a rise of 4% in the XAU is discounting something negative - when the Dow is up a mere 1.6% maybe you'e wise in ways which escape the ordinary mortal? I was curious too about Richard's focus on toilet paper as a means of exchange. To each his own!! Some people have foot fetishes after all? He and you may have missed the reports recently about the use of gold by the mob - it's portable, liquid and anonimus(sp?). The sheiks are on to something? And speaking of Anonimus, where ever he is, didn't he talk about gold for oil - maybe the day has come -and maybe those wise sheiks have been doing it for some time and are going to really reap the benefits now
