Amzn will destroy its competitors with its patents.
>WAYNE, Pa., June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Infonautics, Inc. (Nasdaq: INFO), a pioneering provider of personalized information agents and Internet sites today announced that its Company Sleuth site (http://www.companysleuth.com) uncovered a key patent for Amazon.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN). Registered users of the free service received an email alert well in advance of the "breaking" news stories that appeared several days later.

Company Sleuth was instrumental in uncovering the collaborative filtering patent for Amazon.com's BookMatcher service (US Patent No.# 6,064,980). The patent is quoted by CNET news sources as a development that could "spell trouble for dozens of e-commerce sites that use similar technology to recommend books, videos or other products to customers." The Company Sleuth site's more than 600,000 registered users learned of the patent 6 days before the story appeared in the press.

On May 30th of this year Company Sleuth users also learned that an Internet billing patent (US Patent No.# 6,070,150) was awarded to Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT). The patent involves a billing system that enables vendors to submit a bill directly to consumers over the Internet. The bill includes line by line itemization, disputes, and gives customers control over payment authorization.

You shorts will patiently lose your shorts, bud. Once we broke through 3600 today, as I predicted, it is up from here.

You should cover while you still can.

Are you short amzn, LTK? If so, at what price?
