In a deflationary recession, Gold stocks do even a bit better (though not as good for the POG), because production costs drop. Inflation is not going away, my "friend". Stay tuned for the PPI next week and learn.

this is complete bullsh*t. in the deflationary depression of the 1930's, HM's share price rose 10-fold while the Dow lost 86% of its value. Dan Ascani has published a study that goes as far back as 1540, and PROVES that gold performs extraordinarily well in both inflations and outright deflations.
