Someone ask me about the DELL by PM below is my ans.

I wouldn't be over weighted in DELL at all. There are so many great stocks out there. I see HWP and GTW as the only two companies in the PC sector that seem to being making deals with other companies. DELL still has the mentality that killed CPQ, they want to do it all inhouse. I give them credit for thinking out of the box though, they are not sitting still, but as always, they do not try to drive the market, they are following it. I have always hated DELL's fast follower methods.

I added starting tuesday the following stocks. JDSU, SDLI, RBAK, GMST, ARBA, JNPR, VRSN, the only one I haven't added to today was GMST I made VRSN my second largest holding after JDSU. QCOM is way down on my list now, I also own CSCO, ORCL, QCOM, AWRE and ELON.

We are in a new BULL market and the first few days are where the real money is made. SO you can sit back and scratch you head our you can get off your duff and widen your outlook.

There is the strong possibility that this economy does a lot more than just slow down to a more sustainable growth rate. Recession is quite likely moving forward.

Great timing.
What is your opinion on CMTN. The market seems to be recoving and CMTN isn't running along with the flow. Is it to close to the high or is there another reason.
Thanks
Joe

<<I agree with that I admit to being in denial, I didn't get it till the end of March beginning of April.>>
Good post Greg- I seem to be following you, but still several weeks behind in selling, buying or getting off margin.( and hoping for one more tanking to get back in)
During the past 4 years I've been a bull, a pig, a chicken and a lamb but never a bear.
I've always been a bull on Dell which has worked OK.
Then along came Qcom, where I started as a chicken, ( sold all the Q and J once, then bought them back),then a bull, amd turned into a pig. That was the time I had 44% in Q and was thinking I should sell Dell and buy more Q)
But to get away from the farm, I don't see a bear market here with Asia so optimistic. And with money just pouring into the funds from automatic savings plans. Dow stocks just can't compete with the earnings and growth rates of the tech stocks. I think those who rotated out of techs seeking
safer investments will soon find( have found) that there is
no totally safe place in equities and may as well go where the best potential growth lies.
I am working back into , or trading),plcm, bvsn, vrts,
jdsu, etc.
Uncertain about Qcom so will start with a few calls and
see what happens. May keep buying on the way up and use some stops. (always start as a chicken- Bak bak ba gak)
Regards
Sig

Hi Bo:
I figure what you have here is a hospital for wounded bull aces. Shot down by murderous Greenspan anti-tech fire. Those of us still able to navigate, must now develope enough courage to climb back into a repaired machine
and try to fly again or else spend rest of a boring life as grounded chickens living on scraps like 6% income from uts and bonds.
Wyant you go first and test the air while I sit in a wheelchair 'n watch ?. I was up Friday in Ally and hit a downdraft . Thought I wuz a goner but was just able to recover.
Good news from Japan, Nikkei up 461 and recovered nearly 22% from its low in April.

Sig

You want to see birds come to TX. Got a roadrunner sits in trees, follows neighbors mower to eat the bugs.
Miniature humming birds about twice the size of bumblebee. Two pigeons moved in upstairs, now I got six and they are raising more. The latest is a (usually elusive) por-will moved into a nearby tree and sits there
saying those two words, over and over, and over, ........

The giant concert hall sits empty except for a few techaholics lounging in the front row chairs and sex artists who stay to see Marias performance as her screaming face is projected 10 times life size on the giant background screen.
Blinded by stage lights, fund managers and analysts are unaware they are playing to an empty house
as they parade across the stage to give their testimonials and go thru balancing acts.
Lost in the noise is the fact that a large part of the audience has left and asked for a refund each time Mr Greenspan (an uninvited guest) has made an appearance to describe the state of the economy.
