"I put rescue disk in and it says it cannot read it"

zip rescue or floppy? assuming floppy, the disk is either bad or needs to be formatted. as we discussed here the other day, full format is best.

btw, symantec has a terrific knowledge base where you can find answers to just about any question you encounter while using their software. i have used it many times and, with a little perseverance, i've always found what i needed. plus they have an email service that mails you back articles that may pertain to your question. the return email takes less than two minutes. the replies aren't always that great, though. <g3> but you can always dig back into the kb. it's a great online resource.

system crash update...

Crash yesterday mid afternoon and again last night (time unknown). Called ensign (trading software) as I have had a few other minor bugs occuring regularly. They made a few suggestions:

1: do a clean reinstall: I will do this after 4:15 today.

2: remove norton: I am trying not to do this but it is appearing inevitable.
