Andy, I don't know what they mean by that (license technology from PS2 to makers of settop boxes and Internet devices). Is it the PS2 processor design technology, or the graphics, or both? IC processing tecnology? Can't tell.

There was a short article in the San Jose Mercury News this morning, which I couldn't find in the online version in 5 minutes, that was clsoer to home. It said Sony was planning on doubling their chip making capacity for the processor and graphics parts of PS2. Adding over a billion dollars to the fab budget, I guess. That sounds encouraging for PS2 and LSI. LSI has the I/O chip, last I saw. Maybe somebody else with extra time could find that SJMN article?
