Alan, can you clarify? Failure of what? The market, or the Tara contra-indicator? :)

Are you suggesting that you will buy the next dip, feeling that a lot of traders are going short now, not beleiving this rally?

Alan- if you have time, take a look at the last couple dozen posts on this thread:

The thread's founder has run $10,000 into $45,000+ in two months by trading moving average crossovers on hourly charts on stocks such as BVSN, SNDK, DIGL, and SAWS. He's using a five period and an eight period, and variations thereof. (currently 5 exponential and 8 simple).

What kind of critique would you give to this methodology? It is the ultimate KISS methodology. But we all know that a moving average crossover system, while it can be profitable for periods of time, is also subject to horrendous drawdowns. (The guy does admit to anticipating signals and acting before an actual signal occurs in many instances).

Just thought it would be interesting to hear your 2 cents worth on this, and anyone else's on this thread as well.
