V, not sure if you just caught the CNBC segment on QCOM, but Alex Cena and Walter Pieczyk did a good job of laying out for all the doubters that Q gets paid no matter what form of CDMA is used, and said CDMA is the future. I hope we get that headfake next week so I can grab a few more leaps.

Voltaire re music: have you any SRV?

Or the Vaughan bros...I'll bring Vaughans "Family Style."

If you want more, I'll buy a couple to bring (want them anyway); otherwise, will just bring this one.

PS to any fans of Austin-style blues, Clifford Antone was sentenced early this week to a big four years ... dealin,' evidently ... fortunately, the club that bears his name that launched Stevie Ray and Jimmie and many many others is still okay ... he's got biz interests also in recording label and retail store that are organized in such a way that his incarceration won't hinder them, although other forces (i.e. demand, competition, etc) could very well have impact, as in any other circumstance.

I'd give you the Austin American-Statesman link to the stories, but they "sophisticated" it enough that I'm a day late (can link up to past 7 days, and after that, get charged for "archived" news contents). I guess they have to make a buck the best way they can on "free news" via website like "anybody else."

The stories about Clifford Antone and Antone's club were very interesting.

Lookin' forward to seeing all the Porch Party attendees soon!
