The Nasdaq just closed the week on one of the strongest rallies in history, without VLNC. If I were long, I would be concerned. If I were short, I would be reassured, if anything. I would guess the hedge funds that have shorted VLNC are no less comfortable in their position. And I would also suspect the day trader shorts are just a blip on the radar, of negligible effect.

Today's rally was centered on large cap tech stocks, especially chip makers. Small caps did not participate to an equal extent. This according to CNBC's Scott Cohn and others. With a little patience, Valence will have its day, IMO.
