>>But, that doesn't mean that the Democratic
Presidency between 1992 and 2000 wasn't good for the country.<<

Oh my gosh, I've read all I can take of this. Clinton will go down in history as one of our most corrupt politicians. You won't even know the half of it until the justice department is cleaned out (READ:RENO). The latest polls show that a majority of Americans wouldn't vote for Clinton if given another chance. He's been one of the most corrosive, divisive presidents in our history. That's why Algore will lose. People are sick of corruption and Al "no legal controlling authority" Gore has got it in spades.

end of rant.

<edit> btw, I think you should drop the Clinton/Gore re-visionism on this thread, we try to keep the conversation on the more positive things of life! <vbg>

>>Sheesh... if this really happened the way that Mrs. Broaddrick described, how could she keep this a secret?<<

It didn't matter, mainstream press was going to do whatever they could to squelch Clinton's past.

>>But, that doesn't mean that the Democratic Presidency between 1992 and 2000 wasn't good for the country.<< The greatest good that occurred was the election of '94 where a Republican House that forced Clinton's hand in expanding the government and forced him to a balanced budget. Answer this: Name one policy that Clinton originated that created this economy. You won't be able to, Clintons failed health care policy would have been the biggest disaster had it passed. You may be right that Gore will win, but he will win because of complacency of the American people to understand what this administration has done to undermine everything Constitutional.

But, remember this, Clinton was never elected with a majority, I see now a renewed focus by the Republicans that they are energized to get out and replace this administration. Plus there are a lot of Cuban Americans that WILL NOT vote for Gore, there are a lot of tobacco related employees that will not vote for Gore.. the list goes on of Democratic based voters that have been abused by this administration. Do you think the UAW is real keen on voting into office a man that states that the largest threat to the Mankind is the Automobile. Finally I'm smiling as I expect to see a Republican in the White House in 2001.
