D, "Where do you find these things anyway?" Welllllllll...ya see...a few years back I kinda started a thread on SI based on a bunch of work I did regarding technical analysis. Within 7 months I was getting alot of feedback from people who wanted to know how I was able to do something like nail an MCOM the day before it took off. So....I started the seminar thing to share both the basis and intracacies of my approach with those who had a serious interest in that kind of thing. Fast forward to scans... After several seminars, students with ALOT more computer skills than I, applied their skills to what I taught them. Since what I developed was highly consistent, the scans that eminated hence culled out a cadre of "usual suspects". MCOM was a major "usual suspect" that actually did not come out of the scans. One night I hit upon the idea to run a TA on all the 4 letter stocks whose symbol ended with the letters COM. I found GCOM, MCOM and FCOM were, at that time, about to kick ass. They did. But...I digress. PILT was brought to me by an attendee of my very first seminar. He was quite psyched about it and asked what to watch for. That was about 7 or 8 months ago. I became very familiar with the chart and helped him make a boatload throughout all its wild swings over the next few months. So...considering the large amount of eyeballs watching the market with 56er spectacles...there is a HUGE advantage that exists just under the surface of what is seen on the thread or even what is seen between individual 56ers. Milesovstyles is EXACTLY on target with his initiative to expand participation in the 56er chatroom. The best of the best inhabit that room. If you don't think you can contribute...just lurk. The level of market savvy you witness can do nothing but improve your approach and you'll find yourself contributing up to par in no time. Understanding some of the intracacies of 56er stuff is the starting point. The only thing about that is...it requires attendance in at least one seminar to even begin to make use of the genre. Then there's me...I have way too much going on to even try to attend the room. I am very available via instant message for specific questions as long as you have thought through your question and do not belabor anything. It all comes down to a common language and a large pool of knowledge. Well...enough rambling... sheez...how 'bout that CICI??? ;-) Doug R
