Fourthly......I wish I owned a toner of it. --- They may make nice products marvin, but chances are that their chronically anemic computer margins and their commodity core of selling printer juice aren't likely to produce a 3 year return you'd be happy with (IMO). I think HWP is overvalued. -JCJ

Marvin: The similarities I speak of between SUNW and HWP are as follows:

They both are involved in UNIX servers
They both have their own version of UNIX OS
Both design chips
Both sell workstations

Both going after the same markets like the Internet Service Providers and Telecomms

Differences:

HWP resells INTC and MSFT OS
HWP sells printers

I think the similarities are great.

Also, why lament over not owning a stock. There are plenty that I would have liked to own but didn't invest in.

I hope you are right with IRF, because IMO it may be doing well but you can do so much better. (Look at what EMC did today ...up $13) Really I would swap IRF for EMC or KEM.
