<If that's an argument, then I surely overestimated your ability at a rational discourse! >

Ha ha... you're a real character... I got it, you were a 'debate' major in school... cool! Like highschool maybe. Who said that was 'an arguement'? Why don't you just take off on the subjects at hand whenever you're ready O.K.?? I want to hear some discourse myself!

<As for charts, this is what you said:

Actually it is you avoiding analysis.... all you need to do is go look at charts of gold prices superimposed on recessions and expansions...>

Exactly... which is NOT what you said I said. AND you never did go and get ANY data represented by any charts or otherwise, so you have nothing to blubber about. If you want to talk about POG during different scenario's including the above... go see what it did and get to it! Jeez you're lazy.

<Do you understand the difference between inflationary and deflationary recessions, David? Have you ever studied the difference between the Brazilian and Japanese recessions?>

I'm all ears... but as usual I'm sure you'll let that drop as well.

<As for evidence about POG trends during a deflationary recession, how do you think Japanese holders of gold have done over the past decade?>

Again, I'm all ears but I don't see you bringing anything to the table... for like the 4th time.

<Now I know why professional money managers perform so horribly!>

I manage mostly my own money... but it's actually pretty funny you lashed out blindly at one of the few people who has been shareing ideas openly here on SI and keeping actual performance since last August:

As you will see I've sold much of my biotech which were being GIVEN away a year ago by Mr. Market and buying gold stocks... stay tuned to see how that works out, and in any case, don't worry about my financial perfomance, that portfolio was a 'token' 100K, I'm doin fine.

Now, lets move on and discourse on your topics of interest above.
