UF...time away from your computer...well, let's hope it works for me as well. I'm back in the market, picked up JDSU, GMST and SNDK on Wednesday in between making plans for what I expect will be my last long distance move. Monday I turn the old Mercedes west for a leisurely trip to San Diego, with a little bit of sight seeing tossed in for fun. First stop is a Kings Mountain at my newly discovered sawmill where I'll pick up perhaps a thousand feet of tiger maple which will eventually become furniture. The quality of the material is nothing short of phenomenal, and the price is probably one sixth of what I'd pay for it in CA. Then I will cross the smokies into Knoxville to visit with a woodworker friend. I also plan to visit the Hermitage outside Nashville, and drop down to New Orleans to see the new D-Day museum that just opened. Back tracking, I'll go to Missouri, fish for a day with an author friend, and visit with another fellow who was a fraternity brother eons ago and has since made a name for himself wirting travel books, William (Least Heat Moon) Trogdon. I'm torn between crossing the Rockies from Denver or dropping south to go through the pleasant little town of Taos where I've spent a few very nice weekends. Either way, I'm looking forward to dipping my toes and everything else into the warm waters of Mission Bay very soon. Don't have a forwarding address, no cell phone...but I'm headed for the state I call "home" and that's good enough for now. No computer enroute of course, but I'll probably break down and buy a newspaper or two on the way, just to check on how those three picks are doing. Meanwhile, I wish each and every one of you great success in the market. As you do well, I do well. Chaz
