(Nasdaq: WSTL - news), announced today that it will showcase the newest products from each of its three business units at SUPERCOMM 2000, Booths 2441 and 2667 in Atlanta, Georgia. Westell Senior Executives, Business Unit General Managers, Product Managers and Engineers will be available during the show to discuss and demonstrate Westell's products and strategies. Westell's DSL CPE Business Unit will showcase its full line of DSL solutions including its Ethernet WireSpeed DSL modem, currently deployed in DSL services around the country, along with its new comprehensive line of DSL modem offerings, including residential gateways, routers and DSL software platforms. Westell's Transport Systems Group will showcase its own platforms as well as products developed in conjunction with the Company's key partner, Fujitsu Telecom Europe, Ltd (FTEL). In the Westell booth, the Transport System Group will display LinkReach, a plug-in DSL line card and StatMux solution that is designed to deliver ADSL service to the installed base of Digital Loop Carrier Systems already in service providers' networks. The Transport Systems Group will also demonstrate mDSLAM, a multi-service ADSL access platform that provides 24 DSL lines and full ATM switching fabric in a compact package. Westell's Transport Systems Group will also be participating in the International Section at the Fujitsu Booth (8039) showcasing the FBX-D, next generation DSLAM. The FBX-D represents a joint development between the companies that allows for a modular, flexible DSLAM design that delivers up to 1,984 ADSL lines in a high density architecture. The Telco Access Products (TAP) group will feature a wide range of robust local transmission products designed to monitor, maintain and protect special service circuits such as HDSL, HDSL-2, T-1, DDS and DS-3. Westell's award winning Advanced Span Termination System (ASTS(TM)) and ProAct(TM) Network Interface Unit will be featured along with the MegaJack DS-3 System. The TAP group will also display SmartLink and Opt-T-Span, two products targeted at assisting companies in their cellular deployments.
