Mike: As an old retired guy, the fun part is choice.

You now have choice in using your time.

But as George Gilder has often said, time is the major restraint in our lives.

Time is one of the few actual real world limits.

So the ability to use it as you, not your employer chooses, is a huge gain.

But, the strange part is that there is no "abundance" of time.

The idea that once retired, time hangs heavy on your hands, is simply wrong - or perhaps just - outdated.

Perhaps, that idea - too much time - was before the internet and before the G&K thread.
