Delbert We are primates. But we are at a low level of tree climbing ability compared to other primates. So maybe we would be boring to ETIs. But maybe they would like to show off to us, like the great Chinese armadas of the 15th Century sailing the Indian Ocean and bearing great gifts of all kinds, including gold, which they often just gave to the "more primitive" primates they found. I do wonder if ETIs would have professional sports and, if so, what those sports would be like.
