<< Jesus loves you, Delbert (which is not to say that he won't kick your miserable, obnoxious ass one of these days). >> Now Michael, you know that I don't even believe in God, much less Jesus, but I have read the Bible, and I don't see anywhere in there where he kicks anybody's ass. And I don't think that you ought to be speaking for him if he is really part of the God Trinity. But what I really think that you mean is that you would like to kick my ass, and I wonder why. Was it because I said in my post that God might have to send a being down to another civilization that might be lizard-like to convince them of his existence? Consider that most scientists now believe that it is highly likely that many other civilizations exist in the Universe that have at least our level of intelligence, and that they probably share some of the same characteristics as we do, such as walking upright for the important reason of freeing up limbs to make tools and so forth, but may look very different from us, maybe even evolving from lizard like creatures. Now if you believe that the God that you believe in sent a human looking part of himself down to Earth to tell us Earthlings about his Godly father, why shouldn't it be reasonable to believe that he would also send a messenger to another civilization that looked like them? They wouldn't relate to a being that looked human, would they? Or are you saying that if the Universe is teeming with intelligent life, the God that created us and all of them would only reveal himself to humans by sending a being that looked like them to give the message? Now Michael, just what is it about that post that is pissing you off? Del
